The new data protection update comes into force on May 25th 2018. Prior to this we have to let you know how we keep and use your data.

Any confidential data  collected such as names, addresses and contact details is kept purely for the reason of being able to get in contact with yourselves prior to or during your dogs grooming appointment. We do not pass on any information onto other people or third parties. Although you reserve the right to not have your data collected we also reserve the right to refuse your dog being groomed without up to date contact information, this is purely for safety reasons if we need to get through to yourselves whilst your dog is in our care.

Any details collected is stored in a locked cabinet or behind passcode secure/password protected software.

We are in the process of switching over to an electronic booking system. Your details will not be used other than to confirm appointment times through reminders either via email or text message.

If you have any concerns about how we use your data please speak to us. We will be asking everyone to sign a disclaimer reiterating the points outlined above. We will also ask for permission to take photos of your dog for identification purposes on our electronic database, but also for social media and promotional materials. This is an opt out scheme, so if you do not wish for your dog to have its photo taken, please let us know otherwise we will assume that you are happy for us to do so.

Many thanks,

Ceri & Ellie
